If G. H. Hardy should have written an apology to justify the existence of pure mathematicians (of the first class), isn't there an unquestionable need for an apology on the behalf of people like me- the self-proclaimed 'third-raters', if I may use a Hardy-like, self-conscious, matter-of-fact and yet genuinely non-disparaging label for people who can't do one thing well, let alone really well?
Well, that is exactly what I should set myself onto- soon after I write up something which is hopefully of more importance to my resume, and hence possibly to my life (although that would be stretching it far too much) and yet of less importance to my present state of mind.

The turnaround
So I have done a complete turnaround on my opinion about Sivaji Ganesan, the actor who was allegedly just an 'over actor' in the eyes of much of my family and consequently me, after watching two videos: one, a father-son scene from Thevar Magan and two, a song from thiruvilayadal. However, my pride and loyalty towards my family vis-a-vis my non-inherited family, would prevent me from acknowledging this in wider public. Shhh!
